Pre-seasoned is inferior
This skillet was "pre-seasoned." After cooking in it, I don't like it. The surface has a pebbly finish. While nothing sticks, It is not as nice as the smooth shiny finish of a skillet seasoned the old-fashioned way, of putting oil in it and leaving in a hot oven for a few hours. I would not buy a pre-seasoned cast iron skillet again.

Good, but missing some good ships.
I liked this book, but I would have liked to see more 19th C ships, especially merchant barques. Also an East indiaman from the late 18th C. the viking longship was not well done. See youtube the dragon Haarold Fairhair. Now that's a ship! How about some New England schooners?
