Not Brand New
It might be New but not Brand New. It was open box. Just glad that it seems to work ok.

Needs some improvement
Plate is bent in the middle, leaving a gap and it covers you in grass clippings and dust. It should come with a rubber seal so you can attach it to fill the gap for a good seal, not allowing any blow back. I purchased some 1”x1” foam weather stripping and attached it to the top edge of the deck. (Got that idea from a YouTube video of a guy that had the same problem)Not sure how long it will last but it helps.
