Perfect!
This book is exactly what I was looking for. Everything is broken down in 3 ways: Text explanation, code example, and a screen capture of the result. Everything is broken down and explained thoroughly, but not overloading one with too much information at once. At the end of each section is a summary that lists the main points. I don't have to worry about writing notes to help me remember them because everything is right there in the book. A friend of mine recommended this book to me because it helped her, and from her web design I can say that she's a great example of how well this book teaches.

My favorite brow shaper
I had bought this brand years ago upon reading a review that said these were the best. The review wasn't wrong! I've been using Personna's eyebrow shapers for years now. They're great for any small razor need. Several years ago an old-fashioned barber told me that shaving is by far the best method of brow-shaping, and I've stuck with it since. These brow shapers offer the closest shave I can get for Asian-type hair. It's quick & easy, catching all the tinier hairs that are a chore when plucking or threading -- which is basically plucking with string. These razors last up to a month, if kept well & dried when not in use. If you forget to dry them, they will rust, so dry thoroughly and put the cap back on.

Great, if you know what you're doing!
2 of 2 found this helpful This product works great, if you know what you're doing. If this burns your lips, you probably have cracked or chapped lips. Make sure you have a healthy diet plan with plenty of protein, especially keratin and collagen. Make sure you're well hydrated. Make sure you use good lotions and lip balm. If you exfoliate, do so about an hour before you plan on doing makeup.
Lipcote works great on *matte* lipstick. Not the so-called creamy matte. Not satin lipstick. Nothing with oils or hydrating formulas. Any lip sealant, such as Lipcote, won't work with the very thing that it takes to remove it -- oils.
Follow the directions. It works best if you dab a light coat of translucent powder first, then a thin layer of Lipcote, then another light dusting of translucent powder. Lipstick, blot, lipstick, blot. Then add more translucent powder, and 2 light coats of Lipcote.
This is how I get the most out of Lipcote. If you have problems with the brush smearing, you're doing it wrong. The brush WILL pick up lipstick, because that can't be helped. That should be obvious.
