Best suited for Light/moderate tasks
If you're looking for a stand mixer that is Perfect for making Cookie dough, cake batters, Mashed potatoes, Whipping cream Or anything that you can do with a good hand mixer. This is not for the serious Baker. Although technically you can make Bread go and pizza dough I really wouldn't recommend it. This is not a kitchenaid /Kenmore elite Type stand mixer with metal construction and heavy duty gears. This model is more competitive with Sun beam mix master type stand mixers. It's smooth, Quiet, And very powerful. Although I have only had this mixer for about a week now I must say that I have put it through its paces and in very pleased with it.

This thing is a workhorse! Built by kitchenaid Whirlpool
The Kenmore elite stand mixer is actually manufactured by Whirlpool/kitchen aid and is a sensually the same as the kitchen aid 5 qt artisan stand mixer. The wattage rating is different because the Kenmore comes with a gimmick I LED light but all attachments including hub attachments are the same.

So good that I bought a second for me and one as a gift
I purchased my 1st Kenmore ovation stand mixer last year shortly before the holidays and Loved it so much that I purchased 2 more of them very recently. Although one of them was purchased to give away as a Christmas present the other One will be used side-by-side with my original ovation mixer. I do a lot of holiday baking and cooking So having an extra one will make things a lot easier. I originally had 2 of the original can more elite upright style stand mixers That I loved to use. One mixer is about 8 years old the other 1 about 10 years old and still work perfectly. A big benefit to having both types of mixers from Kenmore is that they're actually built by Whirlpool for Sears. Whirlpool is also the parent company of kitchenaid so The mixers all share the same motors . Also both the Kenmore elite upright mixers as well as the Kenmore ovation mixer can all use the same kitchen aid accessories including the spiral lies or come up food processor, pasta maker, and meat grinder attachments. When I don't have both mixers out at the same time for my holiday Catering for the homeowners association I use them all the time For just everyday use . When I bought my 1st ovation mixer about a year ago I also purchased the unlimited protection plan from Sears so knowing that no matter what I did with the mixer or how much I abused it I could exchange it For a new one I seriously beat the hell out of it. For our HOA Easter/Spring calculator i had the mixer set up to make tons of pizza dough. It literally made over 70 batches of pizza dough back-to-back without skipping a beat. So many of the other residents were so impressed that several of them past their kitchen aid mixer along to relatives in purchased brand new ovation mixers because they liked its durability and the neat design of the pouring shield which makes clean up a lot easier
