Good value for an inexpensive mid range scope
I own numerous BSA scopes, principally because I feel they are a good value in an inexpensive scope of the power I require. I shoot targets with .22 lr and smallbore, I don't hunt anymore.
This model, the 'Essential', is mid range in the BSA line. It does not have the target turrets of the better models. The glass is clear at 24x with no distracting distortions and has good color. The scope seems to hold zero well and adjusts cleanly. The adjustable objective focuses satisfactorily [at least for 50 and 100 yards].
All and all, I feel this scope is a good value and would purchase again. I would recommend to a friend provided it was the type scope that fit their purpose.

so far so good
Still on the first full charge. bought the Vivitar to replace a Wasabi that had lost it's program after 3 or 4 years. Charged ok in a Nikon charger and my V1 is running fine. No problems at this point [early Oct 2016], I'll update the review if it doesn't hold up for a couple of years or a problem develops.

Good manual for the Tokarev
This manual helps fill an information void with 1930 and 213 model Tokarev pistols. It also is generally valid for the last production 'Tokagypt' or 'Super 90' models.
These pistols are based on a post WWI Russian version of a J.M. Browning design, they are simple, rugged, and reliable. Tokarevs have been produced in a number of Com-Block countries over 50 or so years and this manual will 'generally' cover most of them.
If you own or thinking of purchasing a Tok, buy this book.
