stitching came apart in first gently wash cycle
The fabric is soft, but the stitching came apart in the first wash in cold water, gentle cycle with no other items in washer. They are 2 ply, which I did not like. This is a major brand, but I will look for an alternative.

exceptional quality, not firm enough
2 of 2 found this helpful I was very impressed with the quality of this product, and the price was unbelievable. You cannot find a better item even for twice the cost. The problem with all these cushions is the same;
Memory foam is not the correct product to use as a filler. Memory foam absorbs heat and goes flat. It is designed to do just that. I searched for at least an hour to find one that contained high density material, but failed to find any.
I am a slender 156 lbs, but if you are a larger size you will not be satisfied with this cushion because it will go flat from the pressure and heat.

Refrain from buying
It is important for you to know my stature for this review to be comprehensive. I am 5'10", and 156 evenly distributed pounds.
This cushion is too narrow, and too short. I gave it to a friend who is a young woman size 5. She claims that it fits her body perfectly.
The vibrating motor is extremely weak, and is located in the thoracic region instead of the lumbar region.
The power supply is 4 x AA batteries instead of an AC adapter making it totally impractical to use.
This was my second Contour product, and will be my last; poor quality, poorly designed, overpriced.
