About
My passion is 1/64 die-cast cars. I have collected since I was three and have over 200k cars in my collection. I buy not only individual cars but vintage collections including new old stock and rough vintage die-cast of all makers to restore.

Super Treasure Hunts
1 of 2 found this helpful While I still like super treasure hunt cars, they certainly are not worth the price and DEFINITELY NOT worth the headaches to get one. With all the cars on the market now with cool designs and other manufactuers of diecast with rubber tires and tools to create your own there are far better options. For the price of treasure hunts that are only a few years old you can have a vintage Hot Wheels redline as well that has survived 50 years.
I am sure the Handler's would not have allowed this to go on if they saw what was going on with these cars. Profit is one thing, greed is another.
How sad collecting has turned into this. What a sad commentary for our times.
The difference of a regular treasure hunt is taking is taking the same car and putting the slightly different paint and wheels on.
Since people are so obsessed to not only collect but greedy to make a 60% to 12,000% markup over the actual price including Mattel's lack to stop the madness of this trend that has been going on since 1995 it is putting not only collectors out in the cold but Mattel as both lose out on collecting and making a "reasonable" profit.
Cars that are.99 cents or $25 approximately in the club are then sold on the internet for those that don't have friends or family working at the stores pulling cars out of the shipments before they ever reach the sales floor. Children are pushed aside when they have ended up on floors as adults scramble to get cars, familes have grabbed cars knocking store employees down including a red cadillac many years ago was grabbed out of my hand at a store with the individual running off like the typical criminal.
People are sick, and as much as I have enjoyed

A nice retro collectible toy
1 of 1 found this helpful I wish Mego would have made figures larger and Tony figure looks more like Roger instead of Tony but it is a nice retro toy with great packaging. The fact the item was a low number will bring much more value years from now.

A nice piece to own
I had to sell my watch years ago after a bad car accident and it was such a exciting time for me to finally replace my first really nice watch after years. It is a very nice watch and was taken good care of. Thank you so much.
