Excellent quality EVF!
Got this so I can get my XF705 on my shoulder and it works well. Quality is very good and focusing a snap. Menus are good and nice to have waveform etc. Good customization in having those on the top or bottom of LCD. Can also now see 1080/60 after making sure camera is set to Level A SDI.

Stellar entry for Canon into the mirrorless market
7 of 7 found this helpful This really is an excellent product that Canon has put out, so please don't listen to the naysayers who say otherwise. I have purchased and used almost every Canon DSLR since the D30 in 2000. This camera does need some improving but it is a great entry into the mirrorless market and if you are a good shooter, you can still track subjects moving across the frame despite what people say. Yes, its harder cause of the blackout but the other features outweigh this.
The ability to get images off the camera and onto the phone for uploading is a breeze. Cropping and raw converting is also very easy in-camera.
AF is lightening fast and follow focus in video mode is very good.
