Nice amount of padding accurate size.

Light amount of padding, maybe about 1/4 to 3/8 inch. Not to much but enough to help add a bit of protection to ski. Enough room for ski. poles and some clothes. Measurements are just right. the 170 size fits a 170 cm ski. I was able to stuff my 172 Cm skies in but extremely tight without unzipping the extension section.
