Better reel than some of the higher priced reels

Smoothest reel that I own. Fairly quiet but above average. It needs more line capacity or use lighter braid. It broke my record for casting distance with almost no line left on the spool with a 2oz lure. With a bigger gear it feels strong for its size and gear ratio. It does spin more freely once you break it in a little.

Incredibly light for a 10ft rod

It is very hard to find a Medium Power, Fast Action rod at this length. Casts lures beautifully up to 2oz and the rod is only 6oz itself. There are rods that are maybe .5 oz lighter of the same lure wt rating but they also cost twice as much. 2017 Shimano technology & it is also a gorgeous rod to look at.
