very good signal but

The item is cheap and is powerful enough to see a lot of networks in the area. Would totally recommend, however, please do bear in mind when ordering that the older firmware (v1.x) is not fully compatible with Windows 10 and tp link are not planning for implementing win10 support for this firmware. The drivers for 8 do actually work but it would sometimes disconnect the device randomly from the usb so if you have the option to choose always go for v2 which has windows 10 support.
