Not A Pleasant Experience
1 of 1 found this helpful I don't know where to start. I purchased this item because it was described as new. When I received the router I tried to register it with Netgear since it was suppose to be new. Netgear notified me that I could not register the router because it belonged to someone else. The seller agreed to replace it which he did. The first time I put my sim card in the router AT&T immediately sent me a notice that the router belonged to someone that owed money on an installment plan for the router and I had to stop using the router immediately or MY account with AT&T could be canceled. They told me that I could pay off the installment plan, have the original owner pay off the plan, or put my sim card in another device. I moved it back to the original device it was in. I contacted the seller and he agreed to give me a refund but I have not yet received the return shipping label. I will post later when this issue is resolved.
