1 of 1 found this helpful Picture quality is very good, and the unit functions well, though the remote and it's features come up short.
The remote key layout was not thought out very well. Play button should be larger than the other keys, and there's no size button. My old player had a very handy feature for enlarging the picture, which is great for credits and viewing details in pause mode.
As far as the player itself goes I'm happy. May get a better remote.

It works, but not like the original
My original remote works much better. Because I could use it from across the street or pointing it at the car from a window upstairs inside the house.
This one, though the battery appears to be new has a range of maybe 10 ft.
I'd appreciate hearing back from the company because maybe an exchange would solve the problem. I certainly can't say I'm fully satisfied

Great sound, but very poor quality control
The speakers are great for the price, though one of them needs replacing and Polk has been a bit slow to do anything about this. It seems when the speakers are assembled, somewhere outside of this country, the assembler did it as fast as possible, and as a result all the screws in both speakers were loose and some were rattling. One speaker still rattles which is why I'm asking Polk to replace it.
Overall I'd say they have a good product though their quality control is in the basement. Obviously nobody checks to see what kind of job is being done. Probably in some factory in China, which is too bad because it is a good sounding product.
