Wonderfully Detailed, But Metal Would Be Better
This ornament closely resembles the Tonka toys I remember from 40 years ago, except for one major thing: it is made mostly of plastic, not metal. Just a few years ago, the Tonka ornaments were metal, and I like those much better. Still, my 4-year-old grandson was thrilled with it. (He's much too young to remember the superior metal toys and ornaments.) I think it is a bit overpriced for plastic, but the quality still seems high. It's worth buying for construction enthusiasts.

Another Byers' Choice Favorite
We added this to our small Byers' Choice Carolers collection this year, and it has become our favorite piece. The gingerbread tray adds color and "action" to the scene. This little boy is a charmer!

Great Gift for a Fan of LEGO and Star Wars!
I bought this set for my grandson, who is a huge fan of both Star Wars and LEGO. This set will be part of a gift bag full of various LEGO Star Wars minifigures. I think he will be surprised that old Nana found this entire set with both the figures and the weapons. I can't speak to its durability or its entertainment value, but I think he will like it a lot.
