Mold In The AC Drip Pan

I bought this last one for a spare. The ballast seems to last two to three years and then needs to be replaced. My first UV System, which is the same as the one I just bought has been on my furnace for about ten years and it makes me feel very safe from mold and germs that can grow under the AC coils in the pan that collects the moisture from the coils. Before I had one installed I was having a musty odder from my AC. Since then I have had no odder problems caused from mold in the drip pan.
