Simply could not be used as a speaker phone.
2 of 2 found this helpful I had had what I thought was a fairly good quality speaker phone and came to really like a few of the features, like hands-free phoning, group listening, etc. But that phone died and I decided to try this cheapie.
And 'cheap' is right. Basically, a phone's a phone and the only reason for a speaker phone is to be able to hear the caller and have him hear you. Well, this phone did neither... even after customizing a hinged mount which allowed me to position the phone close and rotate the speaker/voice pick up toward me, neither of 'us' could hear the other.
Spend more, get better, IMO. Except, I later got a 'cheapthrill' speaker phone for one buck at an auction which is 1K times better than this Southwestern Bell FM858 'phone'.

Now a spare remote sensor
I bought as a replacement for the original which I lost. But before I even opend the shipping package, I found the original. The original works great with the new batteries as I expect the new one to do.
