(I don't understand what this is for... )
I got this CD mainly for the song "Funkytown" - this was the music used on "That 70's Show" when 'Hal' showed off his roller-skating skills. At that time, I didn't know the title or artist, but loved the music. Was also glad to get "Disco Duck". All 12 songs on the disc are good, and not the typical disco repeat-one-line-over-and-over ad nauseum format.

0 of 1 found this helpful I have loved "Burning Bridges" since the 70's - trying to remember (yeah, I'm that old!) if the first time I heard it was on a date with a young soldier stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas, and we went to see the movie "The Strawberry Statement."
"United We Stand (Divided We Fall)" is also worth hearing more than once. "All for the Love of Sunshine" and "Daisy a Day" almost always make me reach for the tissues. I'm just a sentimental softie...

Kerr Home Canning and Freezing Book
This is an oldie and a goodie. As to my experience, the directions are still safe to use in canning, and this little jewel has instructions and recipes that you will not find in any other canning guide. I was particularly looking for the Cantaloupe Preserves and Hot Tamales, but there are many, many other recipes for all kinds of goodies. The ultimate convenience food.
Yes, canning can be a lot of work, but when you're finished, you're FINISHED! No paying the bill to keep things frozen, no freezer-burn, no thawing, and no worries if the power goes out for days! Jars and rings can be used over and over again, you only need new lids.
I'd used one for many years, but loaned it out and it got lost. Now I have several. This is the best, easy to read and follow, and well illustrated.
