Apple got it right the first time.
The original iSight camera is a great product for those older computers with FireWire. It works as soon as you plug it in, and the magnetic mount works well with displays that have a magnetic surface on top.
I also like that you can close the aperture to turn it off, so you can rest assured you have privacy when you don't mean to use it.
The only bad thing is that it doesn't seem to work in Windows, if you're using Boot Camp. But I'm not planning to use video chat features there anyway.

Works great on Performa 638CD
It works perfectly on the Performa 638CD, and should work on any 630-series Mac.
Note that this will make bootup take much longer, because of the long memory check.

Wiha are the best tools
Wiha are the best electronics tools I've ever used. This particular model opens the bottom case of the Sony Clie PEG-UX50, which is what I needed it to do.
