Work well with some common sense.
For what I do, they are nice for cutting setup time. One thing I did notice was they're nice for tack welding. I use mainly 1/4" material, some 3/8". They won't hold components from twisting with these thicknesses, so I don't make a lot of heat or run full beads. That's not to say they won't hold lighter material.

Results in smooth ride for trailer
I miced one at .201 when I was in school 1/4" was .250. What I'm taking down is .250. This is a winter project. I'm not sure if I'll use them or return them. These are for a 9 ton tilt deck lo-boy, not sure what to do right now.
