1 3/4" belt is junk
I first purchased a 2" work belt. It was of terrific quality, and value. The leather belt was of terrific quality and thickness. The buckle was great. It was constructed of heavy metal rod, with a roller tube to help cinch up the belt. The 2" belt was made of sufficient thickness leather, it was ,140" thick. Next I purchased a 1 3/4" belt that was of much lesser quality, the leather is only .085" thick. The buckle is stamped flat metal. Pure Junk. Their quality inspector must be asleep on the job.
