I definitely recommend these!
When I first received them, they are very hard even for adults to open so I wouldn't worry about the children trying to get these open! I have these on my stove as a replacement for the black ones from Safety 1st. The black were a little easier to open, since it's only mostly adults in the home, but being the knobs go on the outside front of the stove, they are always getting bumped! And they are very effective in that area as well as when my grandchildren grew up I never had issues with these types of knobs. Once you use these for a few times, they tend to get a little less stiffer, but still child/pet safety proofed after you use them a while. They are very durable, last a few years depending on usage.
