Works fine in a dryer, gives more light.
I bought these bulbs to replace the one that burned out in the dryer. I wanted an LED because they're brighter. I didn't realize that these are marked "not for use in over or dryer". But I've had it installed in the dryer for several weeks now, and have run the dryer several times on the "HOT" setting, and the bulb is doing fine. If it fails too soon, I'll update the review to let you know. But as of a few weeks service, it's been doing fine. And the brighter light is, of course, a pleasure.
