Don't buy it
3 of 3 found this helpful This is NOT a simple plug and play installation. Does require hard wiring along with the T harness. Instructions are very complicated and hard to navigate through the site and tech support is pretty much non existent. I absolutely would not recommend purchasing this item.

These sound just as good as the originals. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because they ARE NOT a direct fit !!! The end of the diaphragm where the terminals are is to short. The soider points WILL ground out on the magnet!!! I have ordered these a few times now. I have the cerwin vega V15s, PD9s, and the V43s. It's the same problem on all models. To fix this, I trimmed off the terminals on the sides, filed the metal down, and then put a small piece of Teflon tape on the magnet under the diaphragm and also wrapped tape around the end of the diaphragm where the soider points are. When you reinstall the plastic horn, don't tighten it down to tight or it will short out. I've had to do this every time I replace the diaphragm. The do work great, they sound great, and seem to hold up as well or better than the originals. They arrive fast and the price is great. Just be prepared to do some alterations!!
