Simple Compressor Exchange and Money Saver
About as simple as it gets to swap out the compressor assembly. Basic steps, remove the old compressor as an assembly from the vehicle and put the new compressor assembly in the housing and reinstall. In detail, Jack the vehicle up to access the compressor assembly. The assembly is held in place by three bolts that must be loosen (not removed) two are easily seen and the front bolt is hidden inside the frame (hole in frame allows access). Once bolts are loosened the whole assembly can be slid off of mounts. Disconnect shock hose, power plug and vent line and sit the assembly housing on the ground. Unsnap the cover on housing (flexible fabric with pry out body plugs) remove the three screws holding the old compressor in the housing and lift it out. Note where the vent and shock hoses must be reconnected. Take new assembly and reconnect the hoses and shock lines and install the new assembly back into the housing and put fabric back in place. Rehang the whole assembly on frame and reconnect the power plug. Tighten the mounting bolts back and you are done. Turn vehicle key to on and you should hear the compressor start up after about 10 seconds. Pat yourself on the back as you just saved a fair sum of your money by putting the new compressor in the box. This assembly is about as simple as it get and I gave it 5 stars as I see it as a quality item and less expensive than ones already in the box. UTube has videos of this remove and install but not the compressor exchange in the box (or none I saw). It is easy to do and I was about 40 minutes doing it including jacking up the truck.

Book works for my purpose and I like it and it's content.
2 of 2 found this helpful There are several edition of this book and not a lot of difference in any of them. I am in a study group on Church History and this is our text book. Any of the editions will work. This is a pretty through book and serves our purpose well. I am glad it was there to help enlighten us on the History of the Church. It is very interesting. Price was good and the data is better. I have bought three of these so far, two first editions and this second edition. Like th em all. Gave the first editions away to other group members who did not have a book.
