Very nice add-on
1 of 1 found this helpful I installed this on my 2016 WRX, and immediately felt a nominal power increase. The sound is amazing as well, as you can hear the air being sucked in and the BOV clear as day. I had a bit of a scare shortly after installing. Allow me to explain... For about the first 5 weeks, everything was great.. Then one day out of the blue I started feeling my car sputtering every now and then. This became more and more frequent until one day it stalled out completely and wouldn't start back up. I thought I blew my engine. I'll make a VERY long story short.. It ended up being the AEM adapter harness for the mass air flow sensor shorting out. The 'sputtering' was because my engine was running lean, then eventually started flooding out... Burnt up every one of my spark plugs. I guess I consider myself lucky.
When installing this intake, the mass air flow sensor gets relocated a bit higher on this intake than the stock intake. Because of this, AEM supplies an adapter harness that compensates for the additional length of wiring needed, which plugs into your stock harness and the other end goes to the sensor. ZIP TIE THE HECK out of this harness. If you don't, it may end up shorting out like mine did and you might not be as lucky.

Works VERY Good
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this as a replacement to our Bissell Bagless Upright which we've had for many years. The first thing I noticed about the Shark Navigator Light is it's size. The dirt container is about half the size of our Bissell - it's a very small upright and initially had me very concerned it wouldn't be able to handle the size of our living room (which is roughly 200-250 sq ft). We have an American Bulldog/Boxer mix who sheds constantly. I was pleasantly surprised that not only was it able to handle the room, but it is SO easy to push and is probably about 40% lighter than our Bissell. It also does an excellent job on hard floors (there's a button to turn off the rollers for use on hard floors, but I just keep the rollers rolling and it works just fine!). I would definitely recommend the Shark Navigator Light for room sizes up to ours, but anything larger, I would choose a higher capacity upright.

Just like the original
OEM quality. Unfortunately, that's not saying much. If this material comes in contact with a hot motor, it burns holes in the bag.
