For the money, this does the job well.
It works, locks tight when you want it to, has more degrees than other models (though 15 degrees may be enough for people mostly doing their panos with wide-angle lenses only). What I would improve is two things 1) the click stops could be tighter (you can wiggle within the stop), and 2) they could be more clicky, that is be more prominent at the stop (not that this one is like feeling a safes tumblers, but it's a pretty mild feel).
