It simply wouldn't work! Get a new zip fitted.
I bought this cheap set to replace a broken zip fastener on a favourite pair of jeans. First I read the instructions and tried one of the correctly sized fasteners. It clipped in ok but did not join the two halves together when pulled up. I tried for an hour or more by patiently refixing the fastener and repeating the process to no avail. I then tried a larger fastener and what a surprise exactly the same result. I also tried one of the large fasteners on a hoodie zip that needed repair. Simply didn't work despite taking time and trouble and re reading the instructions. I threw the pack away as they were cheap but we're useless. My advice is not to purchase this item, avoid the same mistake as me. Instead take your clothing to a tailoring repair shop and have a new sturdy zip installed. It will cost you more but your zip will have a new and hopefully long life. I would doubt very much if this kit could stand up to the tumbling if the washing machine.

Excellent pair of stereo headphones.

They are lightweight and easy on the earn and offer a better performance than some of the more expensive big brand names that I have owned in the past. Highly recommended to all.
