GLOCK OEM PLUS 2 MAG EXTENSION BASE PAD + INSERT - SP07151 SP07165 NEW

Aftermarket options look prettier but...
...they lack the kudos of a genuine Glock product. I got these for my Gen 5 G26's standard 10rd 9mm magazines. Getting the original flush base plates off took a bit of prising with a thin flat blade screwdriver, okay, don't shout at me, there was no other way because of the design. Once the stud underneath had been pushed down in to the magazine the small tangs either side of the magazine's walls kept it in place so these need negotiating. Once I had prised past these, the original plate slid off and the spring along with the internal cover (the cover under the flush magazine plate with the stud you'll need to push in to enable plate removal) jumped out of the magazine. Installation of the spring cover supplied is straightforward, press down on this and on the spring then slide the new extended base plate on. Do not put the original spring cover back on, the stud doesn't line up with the new plate anyway, so keep it safe with your original flush plate for which it was designed.

Weak Argument Well Composed
This publication is getting on for 13 years old, therefore what might have been relavent and accurate in 2006 may not be now. The author(s) are heavily biased towards outlawing public ownership of firearms worldwide with notible exception of the rich. What else could they mean when they suggest raising the price of weapons (to a point where only the wealthiest could afford to buy them?) The facts and figures are compelling, but no more than the argument in favor of gun manufacturing, trading, and responsible possession. In fact, I sensed from their writings that governments are the least responsible when it comes to firearms trade and supply, especially to more troubled nations. What this has to do with the average law abiding US citizen, and to what level their rights should be deminished as a result of morally questionable international activity carried out by their government, beats me. Socialists will enjoy this propaganda. As for me...meh.
