Frank Zappa had assembled an amazing group of musicians for the Hot Rats album who apparently continued playing together until he started working on 200 Motels. Funky Nothingness includes on 3 CDs 210 minutes of previously unreleased music from this period including many new compositions as well as new arrangements of favorite jam tunes like Sharleena and Chunga's Revenge.
