Great tablet for my child's virtual learning

The tablet works great. Battery is good, screen quality is great. We primarily use it for school. All the apps we use for school run very smoothly. My only complaint is that I have ear buds that connect to all of our other apple products and work fine, however this tablet will claim its connected but then not allow sound to transfer to the buds. I have tried all I can to troubleshoot, even talked to an apple tech and nothing has worked.
