My Mac reborn!
I use LaCie SSD external drive as a boot drive on my iMac. It's quiet, light and compact - cables/connections are permanently attached and elegantly stored in the casing. It is plug and play. Boot speed has trebled, apps open with no lag whatever, transfer rates are swift. The Mac was always fast, but SSD is so much more responsive. The price was excellent and I would highly recommend this product.

Excellent book, well put together and very readable!
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this book because I am interested in Celtic mythology and the symbolism of things in general. The book is concise and lists trees by their significant seasons. There are all kinds of fascinating details, taken from Greek and Roman mythology as well as Celtic, but the reader is not overwhelmed. There are some delightful poems at the end from a variety of sources as well as some links between the human hand and trees. It would be a very good starting place for anyone wanting to have an introduction to the subject of divination from nature. It also brings to mind ancient traditions which we may have all but forgotten. In this time of growing ecological concern, it is particularly important to honour the trees and nature in general. I like the concise approach (if you want in-depth treatment of this vast subject then The Golden Bough would be a good choice) and the ink drawings enhance the text by being appropriate to the subject matter. I particularly like the references to country traditions and old beliefs, some of which may well be prevalent to this day. The book brings trees to life in a very special and personal way.

Dump the cable!
Having struggled heaving a Dyson DC07 up and down stairs, the V7 is a liberating experience. 20 minutes performance per charge on normal, a little less on max. Lightweight, 2 power settings, optional mini Motorhead for extra brush power on mattresses, upholstery &c, and suitable for hard floors, carpets and ceilings using snap on tools. Very good value for what it does, not as efficient as the upright DC07; that stays downstairs where the carpets get full of dust and grit from my two lovely greyhounds 😄
