Great replacement X79 motherboard
1 of 1 found this helpful As far as I know, the one and only limitation of this board is it won't go above a 40 multiplier. So if you're a overclocker, you will have to pick up one of the overpriced enthusiast motherboards floating around.
This board is fine for my roommate's i7 3820. He's seeing no clockspeed differences between this motherboard and his old Asus X79 Sabertooth. Also, his Windows installation booted right up, and couldn't tell it was on a new and different motherboard. (We reformatted anyway)
Right now it is 2 weeks up time and still stable. This is with an i7 3820, 16gb of DDR3 1600, 3 Hard Drives, 1 SSD, a GTX 1080 Ti, and a GT 710 running 5 monitors + HTC Vive.
This should give you an idea of how capable this board is.
