PlayStation 2 isn't the best selling home console for no reason!
1 of 1 found this helpful All PlayStation 2 phat versions are tank like durable! If they aren't modded internally only DVD/CD lens wear out and power supply can go bad. Both can be replaced easily and cheaply! I enjoy this console for many many years! In the era of PlayStation 5 isn't difficult to start up your PS2 and enjoy PS2 and original PlayStation games! Also a lot of Homebrew programs can make you explore even more things!

PlayStation 2 Network Adapter can be used even today!
With the PlayStation 2 original network adapter you can play even in 2019 a few games like SOCOM 2 & EverQuest with some tinkering. Also with softmod you can transfer your original games and have it into an HDD.
I personally believe it is a very good idea for today!
