No directions provided. You will have to do your own research on how to install.
The protector seems to made well of a tough plastic. It fit exactly. No directions were provided and the ones from the Subaru website stink. There were no UTUB videos of this exact year/model so I watched several from different years. I'm pretty handy around automobiles and this still took me about 45 minutes to figure out how to install. Be very careful putting on the double sided sticky tape and the clear film tape or you will have problems.

Killer deal for a 250 GB hard drive
I bought this to replace the one in my laptop. It got here quick and worked properly. In fact I just bought another one to fix an old laptop I was going to throw away. I stuck this drive in and found out it was just a bad drive as well. You can't beat this for the price.
