Check compatibility before buying

This is compatible with Win98 thru XP operating systems, according to the packaging. And that is the problem. I tried to get it to work on my Win7 laptop, but no drivers exist (I searched the Internet). The issue is that Microsoft doesn't support Win XP anymore, so there shouldn't be anybody still using it. I can't recommend a device that doesn't work on any currently supported operating systems. Unless you're buying it simply to blend in with your home or office decor, keep looking.

For the price it's a good deal

The unit does not have a head-up display as described, but I didn't really want that feature. The unit works, but I have found that it sometimes syncs up with GPS very slowly, possibly due to atmospheric conditions. A few times I drove as much as ten minutes or so before it started reading the speed. But eventually it does work, and having it work on GPS rather than an OBDII connector is great because my car is pre-OBDII. So I'm happy with it, despite some limitations. Count me satisfied.

Good value, ships to CA

Frankly, all 134a is pretty much the same stuff. So the tie-breaker is the price. This does the job and had the best ship-to-California price.
