The 2nd perfector is for the tip and is applied to the free edge like a french manicure. (I thought this one was something to correct those little areas on the nail that are damaged on the underside. I didn't really like this bottle as I wanted a bare look to my nails.) The last bottle is the satin set which requires a little agitation to activate it. This finishes the nail with a smooth surface but also fills some of the shine which I loved.
Overall this is great and I intend to purchase this kit for some of my co-workers.
