Would rather have rented than bought. THE SELLER WAS GREAT HOWEVER.
I bought this DVD movie to watch around Christmas holidays with my 4 1/2 yr. granddaughter. She likes music too, so I thought she'd be interested enough. It was entertaining, but not really great. Maybe because the personalities of the penguins weren't distinct enough, or maybe too much music, or dancing loosly related to the success of the protagonist - it just didn't grab you. The most entertaining part for me was the interaction with the other group of penguins with Mexican accents!! Anyway - 3 stars from me.

The Football Book by Editors of Sports Illustrated 2005
This book was ordered brand new, and it's full of large, color photos. Any football fan would love this. Not too many books out there like it. My 7 year old grandson is obsessive about football - knows all the Charger names by heart, and logs onto NFL team sites. He will love this book for Christmas.

Adequate and basic.
Mostly plastic, but the basic features perform well: focusing stays put, no angle mirror to catch natural light, so you need the light turned on most of the time. I found it for even less than the price I paid, but for the money, it will do for entertainment and perhaps nurturing science for the 7-11 crowd. I got some prepared slides elsewhere and it performs well.
