A Great Native American
I have read several Louis L'Amour's book. They were all about the Old West, cowboys and pioneers. Interesting reading about various trails cattle ranchers took their cow to market. This one, however, is about one Joe Mack, US Air Force Major. He was an outstanding pilot and was flying an experimental plane when shot down by the Russians. He was questioned and later escaped into the forest and mountains in Siberia. Joe was a Native American raised by his Grandfather who had a Scots background. His mother was Sioux Indian. He lived in the mountains of Utah not far from the Utah/Washington line. Joe spent most of his early years outdoors and was a student of the rugged , mountain life. After escaping from a Russian prison he spent almost two years living in forests and mountains and running from the Russian authorities. He knew how to live off the land. He wanted to return to America across the Bering Strait as his ancestors had done thousands of years ago. The book does not say if he did, but all thing point to his successful journey. I believe he made it home!

Generation Gap Can Prove Deadly
Good book. First time reading this author. Little more detail than I care for.

Finding Her Child
Great book. I have read one other about the news anchor. She and her cohorts found the killer of a former news anchor. Also a great read. I highly recommend both books.
