Tank Pencil
I have two of these. I refer to them as "field pencils", because I go out in the field and make engineering sketches with them of large equipment I frequently crawl on and around for access. I've broken plastic pencils before, leaning on them as I climb or something, these won't break. If dropped from up high, as long as the tip is retracted, it's good. They are heavy, but balanced. Might cause fatigue if writing a lot with them, but they are extremely tough. All metal. Being able to use and show different lead grades at a glance is great too. The grip isn't super soft, a mix between knurled and the oval knobs provide a slight cushion. These could very well outlast me, but probably would not handle a 15' drop on the tip to concrete. Then again, I wouldn't either, so there you go. Very well made, Industrial grade tool.

0 of 1 found this helpful A trillion dollar company can afford to design and build well. Not everyone’s cup of tea, certainly high profit margins, but the devices are excellent quality with stable software. Very high standard stuff.

Great book, in 2018
Recommended by my instructor, not a bare basics book, but a mid-skill book. Much better than the 2018 basic SWX book. Not as good as an advanced book, has good models and such to practice with. Fills in blanks the basic book doesn’t address.
