Cheap dut effective paint sprayer
The K-3 gun seems to be on sale from many sellers at many prices. It looks like a cheap knock-off copy of an original Western design, and, at the cheapest price, is offered with the usual lack of quality control. So the design is OK, but the finish is poor and the quality will be variable!
I spent a morning disassembling and cleaning mine. There were dents and scratches on the finish, a lot of flash and dirt in the air passages, and many sharp edges. The steel fittings were sealed into the aluminium body with a pink glue smeared on the threads, which was flaking off and blocking the channels. Once cleaned and buffed up, however, the gun had a solid feel and operated well.
If you are prepared to do a bit of work on the gun, and assuming that you don't get one with a major flaw, this product is a bargain...

4 of 4 found this helpful My wife wanted a breadmaker, but I thought they were a bit expensive, and thought I would try one second-hand from e-bay.
This one cost £16, which I thought was a good price. Panasonic seem to be the best name, and the product is solid and well-engineered, with a cast aluminium baking container and blade. No stamped steel sheet!
I was surprised at how good the bread was - certainly good speciality-shop standard. Perhaps that is because we used good ingredients - few bakeries are going to use butter as fat. The cost of a 'big' loaf was about 75p - 50p for flour, 20p for yeast and butter and 5p milk/salt/etc. The loaf is about half the length of a standard shop one, but easy to cut. I made mine heavy and rich, and it worked.
Is a maker worth it? You can bake bread by mixing dough in a mixer, letting it rise and then baking in an oven. That takes more time, is messier, and the oven might not heat evenly. The bread maker makes no mess and gives a reliable result, though it takes up room in your kitchen. It is great for emergencies (though you cold always drive to a 24hour supermarket) and lets you experiment with herb and spice fillings. I'm not sure I would pay £30 plus for one, but that's just me. I can report that the Panasonic SD-251 is well made, and makes great bread - If that's what you want e-bay has to be the place to get one...
