Hate it compared to older Nest's.
3 of 4 found this helpful After many years as a nest owner (2 in a large home) One if them finally quit working. Actually the base went bed and apparently the base contains some sensors. I'll get a new base right? Wrong. Base for my model no longer available. So I buy this new Nest and get it hooked. I just to say after Google bought Nest they have really screwed it up. Now I have to use google home to control the new one and the old nest app to control the old one. WTF? It took way longer to configure the new one than I ever spent on the old ones. I wish I could just get a base for my old one. AND, I don't want Google to be collecting data on my thermostat settings. I will now replace both of them with a WIFI thermostat that isn't connected to Google.
