Wedding in October

Good ideas for various aspects of a wedding that will save us some $$$$, i.e. on flowers, veil, decorating, etc. The sewing directions were more for a person who actually knew how to sew, so I'll just call my friends who sew to get their help. Otherwise, it's full of good pointers.

Johnny, Kris, Merle and Willie at play

Even though I hadn't been a country fan growing up, I always loved to hear the distinctive voices of Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard. Add Kris Kristofferson to this trio of superstars and you do have: The Highwaymen. All four artists have done it their way. This blending and melding of their voices is most pleasing to my ear. I'm putting together "my traveling music library" and this CD will be taken along for the ride. I am retired now and I plan to do some driving about the USA to visit old friends and family and meet new. This "library" will be filled with my CD favorites as I eat up the miles on Route 66, et on.

What's important in life

I liked this story well enough to buy it. I liked the lead actors and their chemistry together. I also liked how they changed on their "road trip". "What would you save if you had to evacuate your home immediately?" took on greater meaning to me after seeing this movie. Enjoy the trip....
