A very good purchase.
Don't know for sure but the handle seems to be made of a lighter gage plastic. If it is I really couldn't tell. It was a perfect fit and having the new screws was not only a nice touch but it was a necessity in my case. Replacing the old handle with the new one was quite easy. I also replaced the cord, which was the problem in the first place, and now the saw is as good new for the moment. Another plus was the handle was delivered very quickly.
