FUN LOOK AT A BETTER TIME
Loved the old Mechanix Illustrated , Popular Mechanc and Popular Science magazines. From a more hopeful era when the future was bright. You could find articles on all the wonderful new inventions like the flying cars, atomic powered cars that never would need gas and the personal helicopters we would all have in just a few years. Who wouldn't want to build a cabin cruiser or gyro-copter in your back yard. Really fun to look at the magazines from that era..As Meatloaf once said, back when we all had a future.in his song, The Future Ain't What it used to be. A few of their predictions have come true like the laptop although that's not what they called it and pocket sized portable phones.Much more optimistic time when technology was going to create a better world instead of the various apocalypses most media now seems to believe in.
