Great addition to expand an existing Orbi AC3000 system
1 of 1 found this helpful Great for those that already have an Orbi AC3000 mesh router system and just want to add a satellite to their network setup. I bought this specifically to put in my son's room in order to use the built-in ethernet ports to set up a wired connection for his gaming systems. I was actually surprised in speed tests how much better using the wired ethernet ports on the satellite were compared to using wi-fi alone (particularly since the Orbi system still uses a wireless connection between the router and the satellites). I found that using a wired connection on the satellites is about 50% faster in throughput than a wireless wi-fi connection.
