Well made but not up to the standards of Stetson or Dobbs in terms of beauty
This a well made fedora in terms of the quality of the fur felt and the construction. However after obtaining it and having it in hand it really isn't a very attractive hat. The dents are far on the side and the hat has a bit of a pin head look to it as the crown is narrow. The sides curl up a bit in a goofy kind of manner I don't like. After steaming and re-shaping I moved the dents forward and that improved the look somewhat. However it's still an ugly duckling. The brim is a full 2 1/8" but due to the hats shape it appears smaller to the eye. This hat possibly will be occasionally worn but not when I'm wearing my best for sure. Most likely I'll re-sell it at a loss. The price was nice but I would have better saved my money and purchased another Stetson or Dobbs.

Great performance nasty aroma
This shave lather surprised me with great performance. While very inexpensive this Clubman product gives fantastic glide and cushion as one shaves. Superior skin protection also. I’ve used it with three different blades and two shavers both vintage. I used a 1970s Schick injector razor, once with a Japanese made Schick blade and another time with a 1960s vintage Schick, Krona stainless blade. I also used Schick’s knockoff if the vintage Gillette Techmatic from the 1970s. Each shave was comfortable and I only received a couple of nicks when I used the very sharp Japanese blade. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is the smell of the product. It has like perfume to it but it has a nasty strong coconut oil soap like smell with a wisp of menthol to it that I dislike. With some vigorous splashing of water most of this smell will wash away and your aftershave lotion should cover it up. Despite the nasty smell I recommend this product due to the great shaving performance.

Okay hat but not very well made.
I own a number of other 47 Brand caps. This one is not as well made, the shape is a bit off. Perhaps it's from a batch of seconds. Not may favorite to wear but it's a memento of the 'Hawks 'cup win.
