Great for the collector of many coin types
The beginning section is quite informative regarding the history of our grading system and this volume is a tremendous value for the collector who is into many denominations. However, if you are an amateur who only collects one type of coin, say Lincoln cents, you would be disappointed in the lack of several pictures per condition. The rest of the book would be of little use.

Must be properly protected when sent
Naturally, having 12 large holes in the page makes it very easy to bent during shipping. Not worth taking the chance unless you are sure it will be protected with extra thick cardboard or sent in a box instead of being sent in an envelope.
