Polaris's View on the history of Indian Motorcycle
1 of 1 found this helpful Nice photos and about the same stuff you read in other books about the Indian motorcycle Company. They really missed the boat with very little said about the imported bikes. 2 whole pages concerning the GILROY & Kings mountain built bikes. This book for the most part jumps from 1953 to 2011 when Polaris acquired the Indian name.
What a dissapointment. I paid about $26. for the book including shipping. and I am glad I did not pay more.
If you are new to Indian then this is a good reference book and you will like the nice color photos. If your are not new to Indian then this is a rehash of whats been written before with the last part of the book full of Polaris propaganda. I would have liked to have a lot more in depth information about the Gilroy and Kings Mountian bikes.

Bought because of low price. I would not pay more the $20.00
I bought this because of the price and I needed a set of handle bars. If the price was higher I would not have bought them
