A good kit for novice or experienced modelers.
Academy's 1/72 scale Avenger has good detail for this small scale. It has recessed panel lines and a nicely represented cockpit, including a pilot. The rear turret is also well done, but lacking a gunner figure. Assembly is fairly quick and easy, and little, if any filler is required. And when finished, it has built into a nice looking avenger.

It has some inaccuracies, but a fun and easy kit to build. Highly recommended for beginning modelers. Also fun for experienced modelers if interested.
An easy and fun kit to build. Not very accurate to subject, particularly the canopy is oversized, and the nose has gun blisters on the nose forward of the canopy, but didn't mold the gun barrels forward of them. I filed down the gun blisters to smooth and flatten the nose to represent an Fw-190D-11 fighter bomber. I recommend this kit for new modelers as it is very easy to build.
