As Good As It Gets

If you loved the other seasons of the Sopranos you will love this one also. Don't think too hard. Just order it. Some things in life are a slam dunk. See the tension build between Tony and Bobby. Watch the tension build between the New York crew led by Johnny Sac and Phil Leotardo and the New Jersey crew led by Tony Soprano. This season sets up the dramatic ending which occurs in the next set of discs (Season Six Part 2). Don't miss it. So get yourself a bottle of red wine, maybe some veal parmigiana with spaghetti, some garlic bread and maybe even a couple of cannolis and sit back and relax. The Sopranos will do the rest.

Breaking Bad Fans Will Really Like This

If you were a fan of the show Breaking Bad then you will really like this show which is a prequel to Breaking Bad. It shows Saul Goodman's life before Breaking Bad. In this show he is called Jimmy McGill (for some unknown reason) and plays a 2 bit lawyer. He's funny, obnoxious and sad all at once. His office is in the back of a nail salon. Note that you don't need to have watched Breaking Bad to enjoy this. It stands on it's own. But fans of Breaking Bad will recognize some familiar characters such as Tuco Salamanca, and Mike Ehrmantraut. There are also some good new characters such as Jimmy's brother, Chuck McGill, who is also a lawyer. He has a strange condition which keeps him indoors and away from any light, and away from anything like a cell phone which emits electronic waves. I would not say this show is as good as Breaking Bad, but it is still very good and worth your time.

Worth Seeing

This movie details the life of the band Queen and its lead singer Freddie Mercury. After the previous lead singer of Queen leaves the band, Freddie Mercury becomes the lead singer. Many of Queen's well known songs are in this movie which makes for a good soundtrack. The movie paints Freddie Mercury as brilliant, but something of a prima donna. As Freddie Mercury was bisexual the movie goes into that part of his life as well. I would rather have seen less of this type of thing but that's Hollywood. Overall an excellent movie.
